Forest Hill Park travelled away on Saturday afternoon to face Combined Counties Side Dorking Wanderers in there penultimate pre season friendly. A 18 man was selected for the match.

FHPFC started the game very well, but against the run of play they found themselves 1-0 down within 5 minutes after a well worked goal by Dorking.

FHP remained calm & composed after the goal & went on to really grab a foot hold of the game, controlling the tempo and dictating the play throughout the first half. Kazim Bishop equalised on the 15 minute mark with a excellent worked goal & finish, before Thomas Jewers made it 2-1 minutes after with a thunder bolt header from a corner. The half finished with another FHP goal when John Burtonshaw scoring a very impressive 20 yard strike into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper no chance. An excellent first half for FHP, giving them a 3-1 lead at HT.

The 2nd half saw FHP again control the game very well & playing some excellent football. FHP went 4-1 up on the hour mark when Kameiko Pope-Campbell beat 2 defenders and went on to slot the ball past the oncoming keeper to get his 4th goal of pre season. FHP made it 5-1 from the penalty spot with Tim Beckford calmly stepped up to smash the ball into the top corner to get his 4th goal of pre season.
